Formaldehyde (CH2O) is made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. It is 40.0 % carbon by mass and 53.3% oxygen by mass. If the remainder is hydrogen only, then find the mass percentage for hydrogen in formaldehyde. Then, find the mass of each of the three elements in 7.55 g of formaldehyde. Show all of your equations, including all of the units and conversion factors. 40.0%+53.3%=93.3%
