Q3: A student prepares a sample of copper sulfate crystals using the following method: STEP 1 – Add excess copper oxide to sulfuric acid and stir.

STEP 2 – Gently heat the sulfuric acid and continue to add copper oxide until it remains in excess.

STEP 3 – Filter the solution.

STEP 4 – Heat the remaining solid over a Bunsen burner.

This resulted in small copper sulfate crystals. How could they improve step 4 to produce larger crystals?
