When we see the moon during the day it's because the moon is in the right spot in the sky and it's reflecting enough light to be as bright.

A rainbow is caused by sunlight and atmospheric conditions. Light enters a water droplet, slowing down and bending as it goes from air to denser water. The light reflects off the inside of the droplet, separating into its component wavelengths--or colors. When light exits the droplet, it makes a rainbow.

The ocean is blue because water absorbs colors in the red part of the light spectrum. Like a filter, this leaves behind colors in the blue part of the light spectrum for us to see.

In the daytime we see the sun shine. Our sun is a very bright star. The sun's bright light blocks out other stars.
