Anacharis (Elodea canadensis) is a common freshwater plant that undergoes photosynthesis rapidly. Photosynthesis is the combining of water and carbon dioxide using light energy in the presence of chlorophyll to produce sugar and oxygen. Although we can not observe this chemical reaction as it occurs in Elodea canadensis, we can observe the rate at which it occurs in the plant. Tiny bubbles of oxygen are given off by the Elodea canadensis leaves as it undergoes photosynthesis. We can observe the rate of photosynthesis by observing the rate and amount of oxygen bubbles produced by Elodea canadensis. (tell me ur answer in 150+ words plz)
