a) Cation is smaller than its_porezt_atom ? why?

Cation are smaller & anions larger in radii than their parent atoms because there is a loss of electrons from valence shell in the case of cation ,so decreases the shell number and in the case of anion there is addition of electrons. which cause decreases in size of cation and increases the size of anion I hope I got it pls mark me as/p>

the reaction is   balanced     since the   number of atoms   in reactant side is   equal to   number of atoms   in   product side.   for   example   they   are 2   atom of   ca in   reactant   side   and   2   atoms of ca   in   the product side.
