Write the formula that forms when Gallium and Nitrogen bond. Look up the charge of the positive cation (metal) first.
Look up the charge of the negative anion (nonmetal) second.
Criss-cross those charges so you have a number of each atom in the formula that lets the overall charge cancel out.
