PLEASE HELP I NEED TO FINISH THIS TEST I HAVE 20 MINS HELP ASAP A ball rolling on a smooth horizontal floor strikes an identical ball and comes to a stop. The second ball starts moving at a speed
slightly slower than that of the first ball before it came to a stop. A graph showing the kinetic energy of the first ball over time is shown
below.

Why did the first ball come to a stop on collision?
OA. Its kinetic energy was destroyed and permanently lost from the system during the collision.
ОВ.
Its kinetic energy was converted to thermal energy and the potential energy of the second ball during the collision.
OC. Its kinetic energy was completely lost to the surrounding environment as thermal energy during the collision.
D. Its kinetic energy was converted to thermal energy and the kinetic energy of the second ball during the collision.
