Hemophilia is an inherited (genetic) disorder, in which your blood doesn't clot normally because it lacks sufficient clotting factors. Before medical advances, this disorder could be deadly if the individual suffered even the smallest bump or cut. Alice married Louis of Hesse and had 6 children. Fred was the only child who was afflicted with hemophilia. The remaining family line is also shown in the pedigree. Do males or females appear to show a higher frequency of having this disorder
