Construct a mechanism for the light-initiated reaction of cyclohexane with chlorine to give chlorocyclohexane. Cyclohexane reacts with chlorine gas in the presence of light to produce chlorocyclohexane and hydrochloric acid. The ring CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2 plus CH2 react in the presence of hv to form the substituted ring CH(Cl)CH2CH2CH2CH2CH2 plus HCl. Edit the reaction by drawing all steps in the appropriate boxes and connecting them with reaction arrows. Add charges where needed. Electron flow arrows should start on the electron(s) of an atom or a bond and should end on an atom, bond, or location where a new bond should be created. Include all free radicals by right-clicking on an atom on the canvas and then using the Atom properties to select the monovalent radical.
