Relative age is the age of one object compared to the age of another object. Relative age does not tell the age of an object. You can think about it like this; if my oldest child is
12 years old and my youngest child is 8 years-old, then you can figure out that the middle
child is between 8 and 12 years old. You do not know exactly how old that child is; you have a
relative age range.
