Explain how repeatability and skepticism are related and why they are integral to science

The scientists need to be skeptical and should only accept the findings or theories, which are backed up with scientifically valid proofs. The scientists who are skeptical of the findings will perform the experiments to examine the repeatability of the outcomes.  

If there is a similarity in the outcomes or one is getting similar conclusions, then the theories or findings become stronger. Thus, it is through skepticism and repeatability that the outcomes turn into theories and the theories further become more robust.
