Scientists have discovered that as the glaciers melt in Greenland, the land is rising. This phenomenon is called rebound. Rebound occurs when a heavy load, such as a glacier, is removed from part of Earth's crust. Relieved of the load, the crust bounces back, like a spring Marco was looking at this picture of two boats sitting differently in the water.
