Shyam took a thin layer of onion peel with a drop of water then he stained the sample with the solution. After staining, he washed with water and kept it on a clean surface of slide and with the help of blotting paper, he removed the excess of water. Then he transferred it on a slide and added a drop of glycerine and placed the coverslip on the glass slide to observe the cells under a microscope. 3(a).
