Why do you think we use asphalt and tars/waxes (heavier, thicker, higher boiling point fraction) in our roads and roof coatings? Why not use gasoline of diesel in a roof coating or road (what would it do, what is its problem)? b) Could you burn tar as a fuel in your car? If so, what would you have to do to it to make it work?
