Drinking water is fluoridated by adding sodium fluoride in treated water. It is desirable to keep soluble fluoride at least 1 mg/L to prevent dental cavities. If treated water has calcium of 200 mg/L, will it be possible to keep soluble fluoride of 1 mg/L. Ksp for calcium fluoride (CaF2) is 3 x 10-11. Atomic weight: calcium: 40 g and fluoride 19 g.
