Draw the diazonium cation formed when cytosine reacts with NaNO2 in the presence of HCl. cytosine reacts with N a N O 2 and H C l. Cytosine is a 6 membered ring consisting of a nitrogen bonded to a hydrogen at position 1, a carbon double bonded to oxygen at position 2, and a nitrogen at position 3 that is double bonded to the carbon on position 4. There are carbons at positions 5 and 6 and they are double bonded to each other. Lastly, the carbon in position 4 has an N H 2 substituent.
