The proteins and others cellular components not required by the cell are packed by golgi apparatus in a vesicle or number of vesicles also consisting of digestive enzymes. Lysosomes are the organelles found in animal cell, they contain digestive enzymes like acid hydrolases. The enzymes facilitates the digestion of organelles, foreign agents like viruses and bacteria, food particles and other cellular wastes.
