Asam Sulfat pada disosiasi memberikan dua H⁺ sebagai;

                          H₂SO₄      ⇆     2 H⁺   +    SO₄²⁻

Jadi, untuk konsentrasi yang diberikan, konsentrasi H⁺ adalah,

                          [H⁺]  =  2 × 0.05

                          [H⁺]  =  0.1 M

pH dihitung sebagai,

                          pH  =  -log [H⁺]

Menempatkan nilai H⁺

                          pH  =  -log (0.1)

                          pH  =  1
