concentration means Molarity which further can be explained in the following way

for example there are two beakers, in the first beaker you have 100cm3 of water as a solvent and 20 grams of salt or any solute and int the second beaker you have 50cm3 of water and 30 grams of salt. once you mix the two compounds a solution will be formed but the more concentrated solution will be the one in which the solvent was closer to solute in mass... concentration is a reaction condition and can be calculated by the following formula

molarity =moles of solute/ liters of solution

in chemistry, adhesion and cohesion are attractive forces that exist between molecules. they hold the molecules together from each other. they are different in that adhesive force exists between molecules of different substance while cohesive force happens between molecules of same substance.

adhesion between water and glass causes water molecules at the edge of water and glass interface to climb up the wall in a narrow glass tube. this is called capillary action. cohesion is what gives glass its shape and causes water to form a droplet.
