What is the molarity of a 650. ml solution containing 63 grams of nacl?

                   Mass  =  63 g

Solution:

First of all calculate moles for given mass,

                                      Moles  =  Mass ÷ M.mass

                                      Moles  =  63 g ÷ 58.4 g.mol⁻¹

                                      Moles  =  1.08 mol

Now, putting values of mole and volume in eq. 1,

                                      Molarity  =  1.08 mol ÷ 0.65 L

                                      Molarity  =  1.66 mol.L⁻¹
