Why is the separation of mechanism and policy desirable?

Mechanism and policy is defined for the operating system while designing.This policy is states that the mechanisms that are to be executed should not be overly resist the policies that make the judgement for the operation or function to execute in system.

Separation should be present in the mechanism and policy because it helps in making the system flexible and can be easily modified.Clarity between the interface of policy and mechanism causes low effect towards system while the policy changes.

definition of done. the definition of done may be changed at any time to reflect what a team can complete within each sprint. however, changing the dod should be an infrequent occurrence, and never something done prior to each sprint.
