Adirect-mapped cache has four 16-byte lines. integers on the systems are 4 bytes. a 4x8 matrix is declared in c:

int m[4][8], as if somebody was trying to make this program easier, the address of the matrix just happens to be zero mod 16. a routine moves through the matrix in row-major order, doubling the value in every cell. all data needed to execute the loop, save the matrix itself, are either immediate or stored in registers. what is the miss rate of the cache for this operation? what will be the miss rate of the cache when the routine moves through the matrix in column-major order?
