3: the world actually isn't infinite, it just sends you to different dimensions whenever you reach the end of your old world. However, these dimensions cannot be a carbon copy, so thats why sometimes block spawn floating, pink sheep exist, villages spawn inside a mountain sometimes, and why bugs that toddlers believe to he Herobrine occur.
