Mainframe:

Typical Usage: Used by large organization for large amount of data processing. For example Statistical Data.

Speed:  3 to 4 MIPS( Million Instructions per second)

Capacity: They can provide up to 12 parallel 650 MHz processors, 32 GB memory.

They can handle large amount of data from different parts of the world.

Cost:  Hight Quality: More than $7.5 Lac

          Mid Quality:   $2.5 Lac  

          Low Quality: smaller than $2.5 Lac

Personal Laptop:

Typical Usage:

Used by one person.

They are used in home, office  for text processing, email, spread sheet.

Speed:  of good laptop 3.5 to 4.5

Capacity: of Good laptop  16 to 32 GB RAM, I TB hard disk

Cost: of Good Laptop $1300 to $1900

PDA:

Typical Usage: Use as handheld device.

for surfing internet and watching movies.

Now a days PDA is replaced by Tablet.

Capacity: 8 MB to I GB

Cost: $24 to $180

i don't think so. although it would be nice. i am pretty sure that was an option an update or two ago. i guess they want you to stay 14 forever. haha.
