(b) The suffix contains two vowels which always match, but they may be both /i/ or both /1/. What governs this alternation?
2. Write a principled model in Prolog of this phenomenon. Assume that the lexicon contains all five root forms and a single perfective suffix. Your program should generate all of the surface forms shown in a principled way. Include some prose about your code which details your approach (i. e. tell us in a few sentences what is actually happening in your code). Hint: You will probably want to use an underyaka/2 predicate, similar to the underenglish/2 predicate shown in lecture for nasal assimilation.
