Chevron signs on the roads indicate a sharp right or left ahead, dangerous curves, or other hazards. To improve the conspicuity of these signs, they use yellow backgrounds or black lettering. Chevron signs can be posted individually or in clusters. They often contain different types of arrows.  Drivers are always cautioned to slow down to safety and follow the curve.
