Two water reservoirs a and b are connected together through a 430m long pipe of 300 mm diameter and an inner surface roughness of e = 0.3 mm. a valve with a loss coefficient of k 0.75 (partially open) is fitted in the pipeline for flow control. if the water level in reservoir a is 30 m above b and ignoring other minor losses, calculate the water flow rate in the pipe using the iteration method and the moody chart.
