Assume that water at 15 c is flowing through a copper pipe, the pipe is 6 inch schedule 40, and outside is air at 25 c. if the situation is assumed to be steady state, a) what would be the heat loss from the pipe to the atmosphere? assume that the heat convection coefficient inside and outside are 100 and 10 w/m2k, respectively. b) what would be the temperature of the inner and outer wall temperature?
