Consider the startup of a cstr of volume v. initially (t = 0), the reactor is empty. a feed of reactant a is introduced into the reactor and it undergoes a zero-order reaction a  b (r = k; k = 0.01 mol/lꞏmin). once the reactor fills up (at some time t1), assume that the outlet flow rate is the same as the inlet flow rate (see schematics). (a) write the design equation (ode) for ca(t) as the reactor is filling up. then solve this ode and obtain an expression for ca. next, calculate the value of ca at the time t1 when the reactor is just filled up. (b) write the design equation (ode) for ca(t) during the transient operation of the cstr after it is filled up, i. e., for t  t1. then solve this ode and obtain an expression for ca. next, calculate the value of ca at a time t = 100 min. (c) calculate the limiting value of ca in the cstr as t  .
