The following equation occurs in the solution of certain vibrations problems involving a constant cross-section beam with an end load, f(x) cx cot(x). It is necessary to find several, often hundreds, of the roots of this equation in computations of vibrational response of a given system. You are to find the first 25 positive roots of this equation using the bisection method. Write a MATHCAD program to accomplish this task. Taking c = 0.375
1. plot cot(x) and cx versus x.
2. use the results from the above plot to determine bracketing values for each of the first 25 positive roots of f(x)=0.
3. set the maximum error in determining the root to 10-5 and compute all 25 roots using five decimal places.
4. compare your results to those obtained by using the intrinsic root finding function in either MATHCAD or MATLAB.
