A pump at point A in a water delivery system produces 200 ft of head at a flow of 1000 gpm. It delivers water to a point B from a reservoir. If the head loss between point A and B is 20 feet, what is the pressure at point B in psi and kPa if B is at the same elevation as the water surface of the reservoir from which the pump is withdrawing water? (Ans: pB = 78.0 psi or 537.93 kPa)
