Write the theoretical demand equation using the appropriate variable names you created when you prepared data for analysis. The variable names should be very short and must be in capital letters. For instance, QTY for Y, PRPIZZA for X1, PRSDRK for X2. Note that if you used QTY for quantity, use QTY in the estimating demand equation rather than Y. Remember to use the exact same variable names you used in the data. In other word, do NOT use Y and X1, X2, X3, and so on, as done in the textbook. I am trying to teach you a proper way of teaching you how to prepare a technical paper.

Refrigerant-134a enters the compressor of a refrigerator as superheated vapor at 0.14 mpa and -10°c at a rate of 0.05 ka/s and leaves at 0.8 mpa and 50°c. the refrigerant is cooied in the condenser to 0.72 mpa and 26'c. it is then throttled to 0.15 mpa. sketch the t-s diagram for the system and evaluate: 6) the rate of heat removai from the refrigerated space (kw), it) the power input to the compressor (kw), ii) the isentropic efficiency of the compressor (%), and iv) the cop of the refrigerator.

An external consultant recommends that a plant installs a bank of capacitors for power factor correction. this will reduce the peak electrical demand charges by an average of 93 kw every month. the plant current pays $13 per kw in peak demand charges. the capacitor bank will include 223 kw of fixed capacitors, and 183 of variable capacitors. the fixed capacitors cost $59 per kw, and the variable capacitors will cost $65 per kw. the consultant charges 21% of the equipment costs to install the capacitors. because this project will reduce the demand for the electric utility, they are prepared to provide a one-time rebate of $42 per kw of reduced demand. what is the simple payback period for this project (in years)?
