. A 0.1 m3 cylinder containing an ideal gas (CP/R = 3.5) is initially at a pressure of 10 bar and a temperature of 300 K. The cylinder is emptied by opening a valve and letting pressure drop to 1 bar. What will be the temperature and moles of gas in the cylinder if this is accomplished in the following ways: a. Isothermally. b. Adiabatically. (Neglect heat transfer between the cylinder walls and the gas.)
