A strain gauge with a nominal resistance of 116 ohms is subjected to an axial strain of 4.8 millistrain. (1 millistrain= 1E-3 in/in). Due to this strain, the strain gauge resistance increases by 1.9 ohms. To within +/- 0.01, what is the gauge factor for this strain gauge?
