Design a circuit with the following criteria. Assume existence of +3.3V power supply. i. Input signal that operates between Vin = 0V – 5V, and capable of sourcing or sinking 500 x 10^-6 A. ii. Output signal nominally outputs between Vout = 0V – 3.3V, and capable of sinking 10 mA from an external device with an output no more than 0.1 V. Also, sourcing 1mA with an output no less than 3.1V. Hints: • Can use a single transistor. A MOSFET IRLZ34N. • Use datasheet parameters to help design your circuit. • Recall transistors tend to have a pull-up/load resistor or impedance. • Note, the key terms "sourcing" or "sinking" in the problem statement and what they mean. • Try to create scenarios of your transistor circuit. Like, what happens when Vin = 5V, then how do you calculate the rest of your circuit. This will help size your resistors.

Air is to be cooled in the evaporator section of a refrigerator by passing it over a bank of 0.8-cm-outer-diameter and 0.4-m-long tubes inside which the refrigerant is evaporating at -20°c. air approaches the tube bank in the normal direction at 0°c and 1 atm with a mean velocity of 4 m/s. the tubes are arranged in-line with longitudinal and transverse pitches of sl- st 1.5 cm. there are 30 rows in the flow direction with 15 tubes in each row. determine (a) the refrigeration capacity of this system and (b) pressure drop across the tube bank. evaluate the air properties at an assumed mean temperature of -5°c and 1 atm. is this a good assumption?
