A continuous, steady state distillation column is fed a mixture that 70 mol% n-pentane and 30 mol% n-hexane. Feed rate is 1000 kmol/hr at 35 degrees C. Column is at 101.3 kPa. The vapor distillate product is 99.9 mol% n-pentane and the bottoms product is 99.9 mol% n-hexane. The system has a partial condenser (thus the distillate product is a saturated vapor) and operates at an external reflux ratio of L/D=2.8. The reboiler is a partial reboiler. Find D, B, Qc, Qr.

lambdaC5 = 11,369 Btu/lbmol

lambdaC6 = 13572 Btu/lbmol

C(PL, C5) = 39.7 and is constant

C(PL, C6) = 51.7 and is constant

C(PV, C5) = 27.45 + 0.08148T - 4.538x10^-5T^2 +10.1x10^-9T^3

C(PV, C6) = 32.85 + 0.09763T - 5.716x10^-5T^2 + 13.78x10^-9T^3

where T is in degrees C and C(PV) and C(PL) are cal/molC.

Also will need depreister chart to determine boiling points.
