01. A single-phase full wave rectifier is operated from a 120 V, 60 Hz power supply. A 100-ohm
resistive load is connected at the output terminal of the rectifier. Determine-
a. Maximum power that can be delivered by the rectifier?
b. If it is required to obtain an output voltage 60% of the maximum possible output voltage
then calculate-
i. Delay angle of the Thyristor based rectifier
ii. Average output current, and
ili. Average Thyristor current.
