You have to design a queue management system for the customer relations department of a company. There is a waiting room from where customers go to the customer service area to have their issue addressed. Depending on the day, the number of customer service agents available can be from 1 to 8. There are sensors installed at the entrance which signal when someone enters the area or leaves it. Your system should use input from these to keep track of the number of customers in the area and signal if some service agent is available or not. Your inputs: C – the number of service agents available E – signal from sensor which pulses (goes from low to high and then back to low) when someone Enters the area L – signal from sensor which pulses (goes from low to high and then back to low) when someone Leaves the area Your outputs: A – availability. A one bit value that is high if someone is available, and low if all agents are occupied. You can assume that both E and L never pulse together. Please pay special attention to the notation used when solving the following questiona) Give the Extended FSM diagram of the systemb) Give the HLSM diagram of the system. c) Give the datapath circuit

At steady state, air at 200 kpa, 325 k, and mass flow rate of 0.5 kg/s enters an insulated duct having differing inlet and exit cross-sectional areas. the inlet cross-sectional area is 6 cm2. at the duct exit, the pressure of the air is 100 kpa and the velocity is 250 m/s. neglecting potential energy effects and modeling air as an 1.008 kj/kg k, determine ideal gas with constant cp = (a) the velocity of the air at the inlet, in m/s. (b) the temperature of the air at the exit, in k. (c) the exit cross-sectional area, in cm2
