Simulate and plot the bit-error-rate (BER) versus signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) curve for QPSK and 16-QAM for the range of SNR from 0 dB to 20 dB (you could simulate every 2 dB, i. e., 0 dB, 2 dB, . . ., 20 dB). Compare the simulated curve with the theoretical curve.

So you need to have 2 figures (one for QPSK and one for 16-QAM) and each figure should contain 2 curves (one from simulation and one from the theoretic formula). Both curves should look like a waterfall.
