I need to heat air from 20oC to 80oC. I have two circular ducts each 10 cm in diameter and 2 m long. One is at a constant temperature of 100oC, and the other supplies a constant surface heat flux and dissipates 20 kW. I want to heat the largest flow rate of air possible (at 1 atm). Assume fully developed flow. a.)In whi ch order should I arrange the ducts (constant temperature or constant heat flux first)?b.)What is the maximum flowrate that I can supply using this arrangement? c.)What is the maximum temperature of the constant heat flux duct wall in this arrangement?

Refrigerant 134a enters an insulated compressor operating at steady state as saturated vapor at -26°c with a volumetric flow rate of 0.18 m3/s. refrigerant exits at 9 bar, 70°c. changes in kinetic and potential energy from inlet to exit can be ignored. determine the volumetric flow rate at the exit, in m3/s, and the compressor power, in kw.
