One of our course themes is "Engineering reflects and reshapes social contexts." Provide 2 examples from the course that illustrate moments where engineering reflected its social context (meaning that social concerns outside of engineering shaped the practices of engineers). Then provide 2 more examples from the course that illustrate moments where engineering reshaped the broader social context (meaning that engineering developments caused changes that influenced the lives of non-engineers). Each example should be around 2-3 sentences, for a total of around 8-12 sentences for your four examples in total. Make sure that each example is accompanied by an explanation of how it illustrates the course theme and is drawn from course material.
