A refrigerant expansion valve is located between the condenser and evaporator and controls the flow of fluid into the evaporator, which in turn regulates the entry condition into the compressor. The valve is small, so heat transfer can be neglected. The refrigerant in this system is propane. at the exit of the condenser (entrance to the expansion valve). the properties are Temperature = 30 C, and a saturated liquid. The evaporator pressure (exit of the valve) is at 320 kPa. What is the quality of the flow at the entrance to the evaporator (exit of the valve)? State the quality as a number between 0 and 1, not as a percent.
