You have learned about three devices: one that helps people hear, one that helps people see, and one that helps people touch. Two of these medical devices, the cochlear implant and the bionic eye, are currently approved for use in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The third device, artificial skin, is still in the early stages of development. In this assignment, you will create a poster that advertises one of the two technologies approved by the FDA. In this assignment, you will do the following:

Choose to advertise either the cochlear implant or the bionic eye.
Use online sources to research the specifics of the device. While there is only one bionic eye available on the market, there are several versions of the cochlear implant. If you choose to advertise the cochlear implant, you must choose a specific manufacturer and model. The FDA website for the bionic eye is available at: fda. gov. The FDA website for the approved cochlear implants is available at: fda. gov.
In addition to the information available on the FDA website, you should also read the information available on the company website. To find this website, perform an online search for the company. You may use additional sources if needed.
Design a poster that advertises your bionic device. The audience for your poster is a general audience who do not have scientific knowledge of how the ears or eyes work. The poster must explain how the device functions, who can benefit from the device, and what its limitations are. You must also include a diagram that clearly illustrates how the device operates.
To complete your assignment, submit the following:

Your poster advertising the bionic device.
A list of all references that you used to conduct your research. Your list must include the FDA website and the website of the manufacturer.

Apump is used to circulate hot water in a home heating system. water enters the well-insulated pump operating at steady state at a rate of 0.42 gal/min. the inlet pressure and temperature are 14.7 lbf/in.2, and 180°f, respectively; at the exit the pressure is 60 lbf/in.2 the pump requires 1/15 hp of power input. water can be modeled as an incompressible substance with constant density of 60.58 lb/ft3 and constant specific heat of 1 btu/lb or. neglecting kinetic and potential energy effects, determine the temperature change, in °r, as the water flows through the pump.
