Engineers usually work in teams with members who do not have the same level of technical knowledge. They rely on visual and graphic aids to explain and support their communication efforts. To practice these skills, write a 3- to 5-page paper that describes your suggestions for a reverse engineering project. You do not need to complete the reverse engineering project. You are presenting instead an evaluation of a product that you believe could be improved. This may include an object or product that you have reverse engineered in the past or a product that you would someday like to analyze.

Include two of the following visual and graphic aids:

Function Structure Diagram
Exploded View Diagram
Morphological Matrix
Design Decision Matrix
The visual aids are not just supplemental to your presentation. They must be incorporated into your reasoning as you make design modification suggestions.
