For the method of standard addition, it is known that 1. the ethanol concentration of the standard addition solution you prepare needs to be at least 10% to yield a detectable Raman signal,
2. adding pure ethanol to the liquor sample will increase the ethanol content by up to 100%,
3. after adding water, the final volume should be 5.00 ml.
Tabulate the volumes of liquor and pure ethanol you need for each of the five standard addition solution you need to prepare.
"For standard addition method, prepare the solutions in 5.00 mL volumetric flasks. Mix well and pipette into glass vials. Avoid evaporation and take Raman spectrum of all 5 solutions. Repeat the above dilution and measurement with Gin and Vodka in the same way. Reuse the volumetric flasks after thoroughly rinsing with water."
