One kilogram of Refrigerant22 contained in a piston-cylinder assembly undergoes the refrigeration/heat pump cycle consisting of the following processes: Process 1-2: Isobaric (p1=p2=16 bar) compression from state 1 at p1=16 bar and T1=70 oC to saturated liquid (x2=0) at p2=16 bar.

Process 2-3: Constant (specific) volume (υ3 = υ2) cooling from saturated liquid (x2=0.0) at p2= 16 bar down to T3= -10 oC and υ3 = υ2 (to be determined).

Process 3-4: Isothermal expansion (T3=T4= -10 oC) from state 3 at T3= -10 oC and υ3 = υ 2 (to be determined) to saturated vapor (x4=1) at T4= -10 oC.

Process 4-1: Adiabatic compression from saturated vapor (x4=1) at T4= -10 oC to state 1 at p1=16 bar and T1=70 oC.

Complete the following tasks under the assumption of negligible changes in kinetic and potential energy in all processes.

Find all the properties of the four states: T, p, υ, u, h, and x (when applicable).
Sketch the thermodynamic cycle in the T-υ and p-υ diagrams, including the relevant isothermal and isobaric lines inside and outside of the vapor dome.
Calculate the work and heat of all four processes.
Calculate the net total work (Wcycle), the heat entering (Qin) and exiting (Qout) the system, and the coefficient of performance (β and/or γ) of the refrigeration/heat pump cycle.
