What is the purpose of the conclusion in a writing?

Conclusions have multiple purposes.

First of all, they have the final say on the

issues you've discussed in your paper.

You summarize your thoughts briefly.

The conclusion is not just a summary of what you already said.

You need to reflect and think about some larger ideas here. Talk about why they are so important and maybe consider a broader issue and new connections and elaborate on the significance of your findings.

So those are the purposes of conclusions.
