Thank you, Jackie Robinson is a book by Barbara Cohen published in 1974. The book tells the story of Sam Green, a ten-year-old boy. Sam shares a friendship with an older man named Davy. The two bond over their mutual love of the Dodgers. However, Davy gets very, very sick. This leads to Jackie Robinson giving an autographed baseball to Sam, in order for him to give it to Davy.
