Rewrite the following paragraph, correcting any problems in verb tense or subject/verb agreement. i looked at the clock. it was almost 7: 30 p. m. where were everyone? i had been waiting for half an hour, and neither lydia nor michelle had arrived. i looked around the restaurant, watching the other people eating happily with their family and friends. maybe i will get the time wrong? i was positive, though, that 7 p. m. was the time we were supposed to meet. i checked my phone again--no calls. sometimes my friends were a few minutes late, but never this late! i look at the text again, and i started to worry. suddenly, my phone will ring. "hello? where are you? " it turns out that i am sitting in the wrong restaurant for thirty minutes.
