Out of the given options the best way to sabotage yourself is to set goals that are higher than what you can actually achieve at the given circumstances. That is why 'overachievers' usually fail to reach their goals or can not overcome the obstacles. The goals have to be realistic and anchored in the facts. If you think you can achieve something without any proof that you have done it in the past  it is very unlikely that you will be successful. However, capitalism thrives on those who want more and have faith even though their dreams might seem unrealistic.
